Meeting some lovely creatures who have all overcome trauma or neglect with the helping hands at the Land O' Lakes Rescue Petting Farm. From a Canada Goose that can't fly to a lovely horse (my favourite) learning to trust again after an attack from a mountain lion, each one has incredible personality. I shared this on FB with a great response so I thought I'd share it here as well. Possum courtship is rare to witness. This video was February 1st 2016 and sadly today I found her on the road at 7am; where she had been hit and killed for several hours. I moved her off the road and checked her pouch for any sign of babies which there were none. She was then taken for cremation. I wish these acci...

This tiny one was discovered in a pile of rocks so I moved it to a make-shift nest box & for 3 days both parents fed it about every 10-15 minutes. Tucked deep in a shrub, sadly on 3rd evening before dark something took it. Most likely another bird. Sad indeed, but in its week of life it was protected from rain, had love & lots of food.
I just heard this song for the first time and I’ve fallen in love with it.
Still alive in 2024! This song is going to be played at my funeral! That is how much I love this great song!
